Volunteer with ASAHC

Help build a practical response to anti-South Asian hate. We are bringing together people who can research, write, build tools and organize their communities.

We’re building the foundation

We are defining the first roles and setting up a way for people to express interest. Registration details will be published on this page when they are ready.

Where your skills can help

Research and verification

Review public sources, verify details, and help build clear records of online abuse and institutional responses.

Technology and data

Develop tools to organize public evidence, identify patterns and make findings easier to inspect.

Writing and communication

Turn research into concise reports, explain findings and help people understand what action is needed.

Community organizing

Connect parents and local groups, coordinate outreach, and help families follow up with schools and institutions.

Turn concern into action

A useful response starts with a clear record and people prepared to follow through.

  1. Keep the evidence

Save the public link, date and context of targeted abuse. Share verified reporting with the people who need to see it.

  2. Press for a response

Use the platform’s reporting tools. Keep the report number and response so unresolved abuse can be followed up.

  3. Organize locally

Talk with parents, neighbors and community leaders. Agree on who will contact the relevant school or institution and follow up.

A group taking shape

We are concerned parents of American children of South Asian heritage. Our immediate work is building the people, processes and evidence behind ASAHC’s mission.
