About ASAHC
We are concerned parents of American children of South Asian heritage, organizing a practical response to hatred and threats. ASAHC is in its founding stage, with online accountability as our first priority.
Our mission
Confront anti-South Asian hate. Hold platforms and institutions accountable for their response. Equip our community to protect its children. ASAHC exists to turn shared concern into organized action.
Our children deserve to grow up confident in their place in this country. Their safety and equal standing are worth defending, and we will keep showing up until that responsibility is met.
Our community
This is a call to South Asian Americans, parents, neighbors and community leaders. Bring your skills, your voice and your determination to the work of protecting the next generation.
Across our heritages, faiths and family histories, we share a responsibility to stand with families facing hatred. Our strength comes from acting together.
We stand together
A threat against one South Asian family concerns our entire community. Our response must be united, organized and persistent.
Our shared commitments:
- Protect our children and stand with targeted families
- Demand equal safety, dignity and standing for every South Asian American community
- Document abuse with evidence that can withstand scrutiny
- Demand answers from platforms and institutions
- Turn solidarity into sustained action
How we turn conviction into action
- Document the evidence.
- Build clear records of public abuse, identify patterns and publish findings people can inspect.
- Track the response.
- Press platforms to enforce their rules, explain their decisions and address repeated failures.
- Organize our community.
- Bring families, researchers, technologists and communicators together around concrete demands.
- Protect the next generation.
- Equip parents and educators to recognize harassment, insist on a response and follow through.
An American commitment
America is our home. Freedom, equal protection and the right to raise our children in safety are promises we intend to uphold. We seek clear responses from platforms and public officials across party lines.
Building the organization
ASAHC is in its founding stage. The immediate work is organizing the people and capabilities behind our accountability agenda. Program launches and leadership appointments will be announced here as they are established.
Leadership that earns trust
We are building a council with accountable leadership, sound financial oversight and rigorous review of its public work. Its credibility must come from evidence, integrity and a sustained commitment to the families it serves.
Step forward
We need people who can research, build, write, organize and bring others into the work. Online accountability comes first. Practical tools for families and schools are our second priority.
Start by sharing the evidence, demanding a response to online abuse and organizing the people around your family. Our children’s future deserves our action today.
